Skype tells us the latest version available on different OS version on this link https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA12041/what-is-the-latest-version-of-skype-on-each-platform . As per the page, users on Mac OS 10.9 can use Skype v 8.49 but not higher.

However, clicking on the OS Name (Ex Mac in my case) takes us to only the latest version irrespective of the Mac OS Version that I am on. There is on link on https://www.skype.com/en/get-skype/ for users on Mac OS 10.9 to download the last supported version of Skype which is v 8.49

From where can we download the official last version of Skype for Mac OS 10.9 ? There are a number of 3rd party websites that host older versions, but I want to stick to the official download links to be sure that we remain free of any malware.

Thanks.
